As we celebrate entrepreneurs from all around the world during Global Entrepreneurship week (#GEW2021) held from November 8 – 14, 2021, I decided to pick two books that really digs deep into what it means to lead solid teams while creating a strong organizational culture. These books will resonate with any dynamic leader whether you are a Career Professional or Entrepreneur.
I was fortunate to interview Mike Robbins on my podcast in May 2020 during the height of the pandemic just when he released his new book, We’re All in This Together. This was early days when I started dabbling into the podcasting world. We had a fascinating conversation about his career journey and big pivot into entrepreneurship as well as some of the things he does to keep him grounded. Take a listen below.
In his book, We’re All In It Together by Author Mike Robbins takes a deep dive into what it means to build a great team culture where everyone feels trusted and has a sense of belonging. This is a great book for any leader who wants to dig deep into what it means to truly create an awesome company culture.
My second pick, The Masters of Scale book takes you through some of the biggest lessons of the entrepreneurial greats from Apple, Google, Netflix, Spotify and much more! Reid Hoffman is one of my favourite authors when I am looking for resources on entrepreneurship. This is definitely a good read in November and over the Christmas holidays.
