Every time I meet a new global guest I am always fascinated by their journey and Jasmine Mitchell is no exception. She is a lovely and easygoing lady whom I had the absolute pleasure to interview. In this episode we had a great chat about how she started and Created J. Carmels. It is not the very typical entrepreneurial story I am used to during my day to day which makes her story even more fascinating to hear from the development an idea to execution. She goes from boredom at home to setting her idea into motion in her kitchen; baking a dessert which came out ugly and then with each iteration of this dessert she taps into external resources to refine and improve the baking experience as well as develop the skills set to present exquisite delicious desserts. She is a DIY Pastry Chef whose viral desserts led over 65,000 plus home-based Bakers to make tasty and beautiful treats confidently. She has been featured in a variety of publications including BlackExcellence.com, Parade and the prominent local news TV segment WXYZ.
