Betting on you to discover your passion
Do you really know what it means to bet on yourself? Some of us struggle to define our dreams and go after them because life has knocked us down so many times. Well, let me tell you if there one thing I know for sure, once you stop betting on yourself and believing in yourself then you have most certainly given up on your dreams. With that in mind, if you are trying to figure things out, rekindle your spark, that long time dream, perhaps Angela Bryant’s story may just give you some inspiration just by the mere way she went about discovering her next big pivot. It is my pleasure to share with you the story of a fellow Podcaster, Angela Bryant, an entrepreneur from the United Kingdom whom I had the pleasure to meet in one of my podcasting groups, “The Podcast Collaborative.” Angela is confident, decisive and she knows exactly what she wants to achieve after taking a deep quest to figure out her next move. She learned many lessons from her fifteen year experiences working in Corporate as well as her many attempts to become a fully fledged Entrepreneur which gave her the foundation she needed to do what she is truly passionate about. Right now Angela on the move with her new business, called ‘Angel Rated’.
In this episode we had a great one-one conversation where Angela talked about how she found that thing she wanted to build and live to the world. She candidly shared how she never really knew what she wanted to do early on in her career but lucky enough she landed some good jobs in Corporate reaching Senior Level positions. At one point in her journey she felt the need for a new a challenge so she pivoted to work at a non-profit organization on Sustainability Issues which then to led to complete burnout. To combat this new challenge, she took the time she needed for herself to recover from this. During that time she did some major soul searching in order to figure out what she wanted to do next in her life. She discovered the online business world which lead her to develop “Angel Rated”. Angela really focused this time to build a new mindset as well as her invest in her personal development to get her where she is today.
